Meet the Artist

Vicki Green, a Southwest Florida resident for over twenty years, is a professional decorative artist. As part of her original business, Faux House Designs, Vicki has over fifteen years in transforming walls, ceilings, garage and entry doors into spectacular designs. As the sole owner and employee of Faux House Designs, Vicki has worked with dozens of the top interior designers and home builders in Southwest Florida.

 

In 2019, Vicki expanded her artistic offerings through the formation of Shattered Glass Designs. Vicki's glass artworks are primarily derived from repurposed glass and specialty materials such as Murano and Blenko. Each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind. Shattered Glass Designs is happy to create custom pieces and often works with customers on a case by case basis. For example, as part of the cleanup efforts from Hurricane Ian, a grandson collected a box of broken China from his grandmother's riverside home. Vicki was able to take the broken China plates and create the custom piece shown below, a wonderful surprise for the grandmother who lost all other belongings from the home.
